I just went to the movies this past weekend. and a company that sells tickets online is soliciting my ratings and review of the movie. I liked the movie, well enough to want to rent the prequel. but I am not going to tell the movie community what I really thought about the movie. I am irritated at the ticket sales company because of their practices. Here is how it works. I, the movie goer want to see a movie. the first weekend it comes out, and its a pretty hot ticket, so I want to make sure i get a ticket, rather than risk not getting a ticket, I buy it online the morning of, or the day before. and I I pay a small fee for easing my risk of not seeing the movie I want, when I want. Lookiing at it another way, The ticket and sales companies now can calculate attendances and know what to plan for. Fine, you get your buck and a quarter for my piece of mind.
the problem is. I just got an email asking for my opinion about the movie. As much as i would like to give it. It does come at a price. its actually not that much, probably even less than a startbucks coffee. and a little more than a candy bar. Its, yep, you guessed it, a buck twenty five for this little gem of information. so please do give me a call or email me and I can let you know where to send the check. and I'll gladly hand over another piece of my mind.
