I spent $50 at the hardware store buying winterizing materials. door seals, window plastic, foam spray, and some other things to try and close up the house.
Becca jokes that we'll suffocate by January. But I hope that it pays off. I probably should have done this a few years ago. Better late than never.
I have plugged the crawl space vents w/ styrofoam blocks and
I even took the front door off and replaced the bottom rubber seal part.
it had nothing left to it. no wonder it was so drafty!
The fifty bucks was worth it just for the satisfaction of fixing something around the house. Alas, no power tools were used.
